Orthos Prime – This Old Weapon is Still Good!

By : Prince_Husky

Overall Rating : A

Orthos Prime is a polearm weapon that comes in Update 9.0. A very old weapon that is still exist and still farmable to this day. This weapon comes with a MR 2 required to be claimed and equipped, a total damage of 85, = stance polarity (perfect for shimmering blight), 10% crit chance and 15% status. A very decent stats of a melee weapon.

What makes this weapon special is its range. With Primed Reach equipped, you can reach out to 9m range. That’s insane!. This weapon also have 1.17 attack speed so fury/primed is not really needed, also the slide attack damage is insane either!, Making this weapon is the best almost all faction you are facing! Either Orokin, Grineer, Corpus or Infested they are wrecked in seconds.

What about end game? Since this weapon comes with 15% status chance and 10% crit chance, its really difficult to go among 200++ level enemies, 100 level is still good but I don’t really recommend to go for long survival. Though some frames are able to go beyond that with orthos, these frames are :

  1. RhinoOrthose Prime Rhino
  2. HarrowOrthos Prime Harrow
  3. BansheeOrthos Prime Banshee
  4. Ash (Seeking Shuriken)Orthos Prime Ashe

Pros :

  1. Good for daily missions
  2. Fast Attack speed
  3. No problem on most enemies under 100 level

Cons :

  1. Not good for end game
  2. Crit not always showed up unless combo counter is over 3x

Build :

The build that im currently using : (3 Forma, All V)

For endgame, I like viral better than most elements, but still you guys can choose anything you would like.

Orthos Prime Build

Q : Why no Maiming Strike?

A : You can replace Drifting Contact/Organ Shatter for that. But really are you gonna slide attack for an hour? Unless youre born to do that

So, is this Worth?

Absolutely, I’m still using this as my daily 20 mins of fissure and it had no problem at all.

Lex Prime – Sniping Pistol

By: Keyori

Overall grade: Must Have (A-)

The Lex Prime is an incredible sidearm for any lead slingin’ pistol lover worth their salt. This beautiful work of orokin craftsmanship has vastly improved stats over the normal Lex, featuring higher base damage (puncture based), nearly double the fire rate of the un-primed Lex, 5% more crit chance, and a whopping 15% more status chance! The Lex Prime makes a good counterpart to the high fire-rate/status AkStiletto Prime and the medium firerate status/syndicate proccin’ beast known as the Vaykor Marelok.

  • Very high damage.
  • Excellent critical chance, critical multiplier, and status chance.
  • A built in Y polarity, for mods like hornet strike, barrel diffusion, and lethal torrent.
  • Decent fire-rate for a weapon with such high per-shot damage.
  • Mastery requirement of only 5!

  • Akstiletto Prime vastly outdoes it in terms of constant status procs (lookin at you, corrosive!).
  • Slightly slow on the draw in horde based combat, lacking high fire rate and reload speed.
  • ⅕ riven disposition (whilst AkLex Prime shockingly has ⅗ riven disposition).

Overall, I highly HIGHLY recommend the Lex Prime to anyone wanting a good, reliable pistol to take them all the way through the star-chart, and soaring into the stars of sortie level. However, I must state that I can not give Lex Prime the full A ranking and the reason behind this is its quick-shootin’ partners in crime, the AkLex Prime. While Lex Prime has better accuracy, and is easier to obtain with 3 less mastery requirement than AkLex Prime, it also has a worse riven disposition, less firerate, and the sad fact that you could be wielding even more than just one of this amazing hand-cannon at one time.
Here’s how I mod the Lex Prime!

lex prime

This build is very cheap, and very flexible. You may max out every mod if you see fit, with this forma setup, or you might use 1 or 2 less, and use non-primed pistol gambit and target cracker. Need more status? Swap convulsion for jolt, need even MORE damage? Swap pistol pestilence for primed heated charge. The Lex Prime is a weapon you can mod to fit your play-style!

Soma- A good Weapon with unique Design

Soma is a primary assault rifle with some interesting Stats. However, you must be MASTER RANK 6  in order to use this weapon. I love the design of this weapon due to fact that it almost look like a XM-8 5.56mm assault rifle, but in space. This weapon has 2 Polarities Madurai Pol which is very useful. Although this weapon has a poor damage base and long reload time, the weapon still makes up by its critical stats, magazine size and high ammo capacity.  This weapon I can say its good but it requires a lot of damage-based and elemental damage mods to be able to kill higher level enemies.

Magazine by default is enough

Ammo Capacity is sufficient by default

Good Critical Base damage

Noisy Weapon

Zenistar, A Worth Weapon to wait for 300 Days?

By Prince_Husky

Overall Grade : A+

Zenistar is a Heavy Blade Weapon that can be obtained by login for 300 Days. It comes with V stance polarity and 1 V polarity on its mod slot. It has an unique mechanics when you fully charge attack this weapon, it launches a disc that will form an energy waves on nearby area.

Looking at the stats, it has 0.8333 attack speed, 130 Heat damage, 25% status and 5% crit chance. Pretty bad isn’t it? But what you really need to concern is its charge attack that launch its disc. What happen is you will create an energy waves that lasts for 45 seconds and launch time of 4 seconds. The energy waves deals 350 Heat damage and 50% status chance. It will deal 1.2 damage per second and can be faster with attack speed mods. This is the real deal, since the status chance can be increased, but in my build, 50% chance is already good for long runs. I personally use this when I go 1hr of fissure survival. It also has 4 meters range of energy waves that can be increased with (Primed) Reach.

Pros :

  • Incredible Damage
  • End game viable
  • Its charge attack covers large area when (Primed) Reach is equipped

Cons :

  • Slow Attack speed
  • Not very good for casual damage dealing

Zenistar Build

The build that I’m using right now has 3 Forma (2 if you don’t want to change the stance)

Zenistar Build.jpg

*Elements can change depending on enemy type

Why using viral radiation? For long runs, you need to cut half of enemy health so you can kill them faster and Radiation to confuse enemies. Also Drifting Contact for a bit of status chance bonus.

Is this weapon worth to keep?

Of course! Since most players use this for end game, so it’s always worth it! It’s also good for exp farming for your frame!

Trinity, The All-Day Frame You Need For Raids and More

By : Prince_Husky

Overall Grade :

As a Support ? : I say A+, here’s why :

First of all, who doesn’t know either EV or Bless? This warframe is your best of choise for support-type frame in every situation. Mostly like long run survival, Raids, support for farming frame, etc.

As a Raid Frame ? : A+ !, here’s why :

In a raid, what you really need for a carry is your EV (or I say 2nd skill), and your Blessing too! For a team-cover support frame, Trinity is a must for a raid.

As a Farming Frame ? : D- , here’s why :

None of her skill are used to farming anyway. Most of them are a supportive skill, not to be purposed for farming purposes

As a Tank ? : B+, here’s why :

Her 3rd and 4th skill is the best choise for a tanking trinity. But since her 4th skill are capped at 75% damage reduction and the energy cost is pretty expensive. A tank trinity wont last long

Overview :

Trinity is a support frame that has been introduced since the beginning of the game, and Prime was introduced in Update 17.6. She has a passive of Reviving downed player faster and from farther away, not really a good passive but it’s still good for a support frame. Trinity is mostly used in Raids, EXP farm and much more.

Her 1st skill, Well Of Life , what this skill do is raising the enemy up in the air, and make them vulnerable to you and your ally with each attack on targeted enemy, it will heal you or ally that attack that enemy. Not really for an end game skill but still worth a shot. This skill is affected by every aspect of power.

Her 2nd skill, Energy Vampire , Now this is your main skill usage. What this skill do is damaging a targeted enemy with in exchange of energy in return. The more Strength you have, the more damage and energy in return. This skill is affected by every aspect of power

Her 3rd skill, Link , Basically you will “Link” your body to an enemy, and if that enemy is aiming at you, the damage will return to the corresponding enemy. Good for a tank trinity. This skill is affected by every aspect of power except power strength.

Her 4th skill, Blessing , One of the main skill beside Energy Vampire. What this skill do is restoring health and shield for you and your ally. After healing, you and your ally in radius will get a damage reduction depending on your strength. More str means more damage reduction you get (Capped at 75% damage reduction. Probably at 145%-155% str). This skill is affected by strength, duration and efficiency.

For most supportive trinity, most players uses EV build or Bless build since 2 of them are used for most cases like raids, defection, survival etc.

Allies :

Everyone! Who doesn’t love trinity in their squad?!

Enemies :

Harrow – In most cases even Harrow can still be your allies, but harrow support skill is almost comparable to trinity, even his 4th skill Covenant, your bless is next to useless

Pros :

  • Top tier support in the game currently
  • Easy to farm
  • Easy to build
  • Takes less forma to build

Cons :

  • Not a solo frame
  • Requires some good mods to maximize her
  • Shes not that tanky

Trinity Build

For the build, I’m currently using 2 builds,

Trinity EV Build (2 Forma by Prince_Husky)

Trinity EV Build

     Explanations :

1st, why 12% Duration ? : Because you need to refill your squad energy as fast as you can. So lower the duration is a must for Trinity

2nd, why 250% Range ? : Because you need to get your ally energy as far as you can, simply because sometimes your ally is everywhere. At least cover their energy in large distance is the best choise

3rd, why 224% Strength ? : Because the larger the strength, the more energy you can get.

Usage : Most player use this for an energy refill in most situations, I usually use this in Raids and EXP farm.

Trinity Bless Build

Trinity Bless Build (2 Forma by Prince_Husky)

Explanations :

1st, why 282% Duration ? : The longer the duration, you can give you and your allies a damage reduction

2nd, why 34% Range ? : Since her bless is not really affected by range, you can ignore it.

3rd, why 145% Strength ? : A bit of RNG here, since the damage reduction is capped at 75%, the best choise for maxing it out is putting strength between 145%-155%, but I don’t want to risk duration loss so 145% is fine, you can get 70%+ damage reduction and that is already good.

Usage : Mostly this build is used in Raids

So, is this worth to get?

Yes of course! You must be insane if you think this frame is bad!

This frame is a must have frame, especially her 2nd and 4th is insane skill that you will not regret having this frame in your frame inventory.
